I was a 9 year old living in Lyneham and attending Lyneham school, I remember seeing the funeral cortage of these two Polish airmen, and I still visit the Military Graves in Lyneham churchyard. These two airmen were killed when their Westland Lysander crashed at RAF Lyneham, not an Airspeed Oxford as sometime reported.
