Mjr obs. Kazimierz Leon KNAPIK s. Józefa i Natalii z Buczyńskich, ur. 2 III 1896 w Gorlicach. Absolwent SGGW (1923). Żołnierz Legionów Polskich. Od 1918 pełnił służbę w 45 pp i składzie amunicji w Rudniku, a po zakończeniu działań wojennych w Dep. VII MSWojsk. W 1924 przeniesiony do Okr. Zakładu Gosp. nr 1, potem do Komisji Nadzoru Tech. Lot. i Wojsk. Zakładów Zaopatrzenia Aeronautyki. W 1937 mianowany mjr., wyznaczony kmdtem parku bazy CWLot. nr 2 . Odznaczony KN, KW 3, bdd.
