    He was a pilot, born on 3rd August 1916 at Szopienice, Katowice, and killed on 6th February 1941 when R1014 crashed at Station Farm near Bleasby, Nottinghamshire shortly after take off. He is buried at Newark upon Trent Cemetery. Immediately before the war he was a member of 21 Eskadra Bombowa Lekka, flying mainly in PZL 23B Karas.
