Semaniuk Aleksander ur. 06.05.1919 roku w Borysławiu w rodzinie Bazylego i Michaliny Semaniuków.     
We wrześniu 1939 r. 5(65) EBL, ciężko ranny podczas bombardowania niemieckiej kolumny pancernej przebywa w szpitalu. Po wyleczeniu ran ucieka ze szpitala, unikając niewoli niemieckiej. Po wyzwoleniu pracuje w pożarnictwie. Mieszkał w Puławach, zmarł 30.11.1990 r . Pochowany na Cmentarzu Komunalnym przy ul. Budowlanych.
