Kita Marian urodził się w m. Szczebrzeszyn w rodzinie Pawła i Rozalii Kitów (W. Grudniak).    
    
St.sierż.pil. Kita Marian wystartował 5 października 1944 z bazy RAF Lasham na samolocie de Havilland ?Mosquito? nr NT226 i odbywał nocny lot ćwiczebny z por.nawig. L. Piekarskim. Wskutek utraty prędkości samolot rozbił się w Herriard koło Alton (Hampshire). Obaj lotnicy zginęli. Pochowany został na cmentarzu Lyonshal Kingdon Herefordshire, UK.
