Podoficer nadterminowy 1 pl w Warszawie, podczas ewakuacji z Bazą nr 1 dostał się do niewoli radzieckiej i po kilku dniach zwolniony do domu. We Lwowie aresztowany przez NKWD, skazany na 10 lat łagru, zwolniony został po ogłoszeniu amnestii. Zdołał dotrzeć do ośrodka formowania armii polskiej w Kermine i tam zmarł z wyczerpania 15.III.1942 . Pochowany na polskim cmentarzu wojskowym w Kermine, grób nr 39, rząd IV.
